Awards and distinctions were presented by organizers of the “Company of the Year 2016” competition under the slogan “Self-governments – Entrepreneurs”: President of Bielsko-Biała Jacek Krywult, Bialystok starost Andrzej Płonka and President of the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bielsko-Biała Janusz Targosz.

7th Czechosław Gala Competition

Walcownia Metali “Dziedzice” S.A. is the laureate of this year’s edition of the Czechoslav competition – awards given to companies that create their own brand contribute to building a positive image of Czechowice-Dziedzice. Awards are given in two categories: “Manufacturing and construction” and “Commerce and services”. By decision of the Chapter of the Competition under the leadership of the mayor of Czechowice-Dziedzice Marian Błachut, the award in the category “Manufacturing and construction” was sent to Walcownia Metali “Dziedzice” S.A. and in the category “Trade and services” to Vertex S.A.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister Stanisław Szwed – Secretary of State in the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy, Senator Andrzej Kamiński, MEP Małgorzata Pępek, Jan Chrząszcz – Silesian Voivode, Jacek Krywult – President of Bielsko-Biała, Janusz Steinhoff – Deputy Prime Minister Jerzy Buzek, Tadeusz Donocik – President of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice and Wiesław Pochopień – President of the Cracovian Delegation of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice and Mayor of Czechowice-Dziedzice Marian Błachut. The award was given by the President of the Management Board of Walcownia Metali “Dziedzice” S.A. – Jan Wozniak from the hands of Deputy Minister Stanisław Szwed.
